Cardano Island
What is Cardano Island?
Located on Virtua Prime, Cardano Island is the Cardano community’s true home in the metaverse. Cardano Island forms part of Virtua, a gamified metaverse platform where you can play, interact with iconic brands, own land, build structures, showcase your NFT collection, hang out with friends, and more.
The island will house Cardano HQ; the Academy Centra educational facility; the Cardano Island Virtua Hub; three Cardano Towers (containing 1,000 condos per tower); and 9,999 plots of land in the “C Zone” where Cardano community members can live, play, and explore.
Everything on Cardano Island has a metagame element, including special resources you can mine from your land, NFTs with links to Web3 games, characters you can bring to life, and more!
Cardano Island community members contribute to the growth of the community through competitions, resource collection, interactions in social spaces, surprise airdrops, and much more!
Community members will also be able to play Virtua Studios’ original games (such as VFLECTION and a special VFLECT jetpack endless runner game) when those games are launched.
Land
Land Plots on Cardano Island are designed to provide a deeply immersive and rewarding gamified metaverse experience, and enable you to establish your very own home in the Virtua metaverse!

Small plots
Medium plots

Condos
Land plots have certain attributes that set them apart from each other. These attributes include NPC Slots, Land Bot Slots, Summit NFT Slots and Resources.
Land Bot slots
Land Bots can be used to accelerate resource emission from land plots, and can also craft exciting new NFTs.
Summit NFT Slots
Holders of limited edition Cardano Summit NFTs get perks. Landowners can combine up to 5 summit NFTs to unlock certain features
NPC Slots
Land plots come inhabited by NPCs (Non-Player Characters) who are residents of specific islands and zones. These characters make our metaverse come to life, and will be rewarded periodically to landowners whose land plots contain NPC slots.
Resources
All land plots contain a set of resources that can be manually or passively collected from the land over a period of time.
Resources can be traded, or used to craft new NFTs.
Condos
3,000 Cardano Island Condos will be located across 3 Cardano Towers (1,000 Condos per Tower), which can be found on the coast of Cardano Island.
Condo owners will be able to purchase resources and Land Bots in order to craft new NFTs, but Condos will not emit resources themselves.
Condo owners will receive special perks, and OG Condo owners received free NFT yachts as a special airdrop during the initial Cardano Island Land Sale event.
