Collection

In the metaverse, there will be fixed pools of resources available for distribution every week. Landowners will try to mine efficiently to collect as many resources as possible before the weekly quantity runs out.

  • Land that has resources will automatically/passively collect its resources in a storage (over a period of time).

  • The storage will have a capacity. Once the capacity is full, resource collection will stop and players will have to claim the resources (by logging in the game) for the resource collection to start again. (This feature will ensure the resources are being awarded to active players only).

  • If there are any unclaimed resources in the storage, the player can claim them. The player does not have to wait for the storage to be full.

  • Storage capacity can be increased by purchasing or crafting a better Storage system, or through owning certain types of robots.

  • Upon claiming resources, resources will be transferred to the player’s inventory.

  • Resource units will not be on the blockchain (in phase 1 of development). Resource units can be merged into a block of resources, and minted as an NFT item on the blockchain (in later versions of the game).

  • Resources will be used for:

    • Crafting NFT items (buildings, upgrades, vehicles, decorations, VFLECTs, etc.)

    • Access to experiences (concert pass, gallery invites, auction tickets, etc.)

Quests

Quests will be intoduced in 2023. An example of that would be a Mining Quest.

Mining Quests

There will be mining areas on the map which are not owned by any player (e.g. a volcano, a cave, a forest, etc.) Mining events will be held at these places that will require a specific type of robot. Any player owning the robot NFT in their wallet (land owner or not) can join the event.

Players will play a mini-game to earn resources, and will be ranked on an event leaderboard. Top players will get special rewards at the end of the event.

Mini game example 1: Match-3 game to mine land resources. A 2-day event can trigger this mini-game on the map, such as “A cave has been discovered with a vast collection of valuable resources …. Go get em!”

Tiles will resemble the resource.

Matched tiles will be collected.

Winning the level will transfer the resources to player’s inventory

Mini game example 2: Drag racing game (runner type) to collect resources. A 2-day event can trigger this mini-game on the map, such as “A volcano erupted and valuable resources are lying around on streets … Go get em!”

Player can switch lanes and collect resources hovering on the track.

Once a player receives enough damage (via obstacles), the game is over.

Resources collected are transferred to the player's inventory.
