The Meta Game

All land plots have gamification elements on them, both the public and the privately owned lands. These resources, relics and land bots work together to create the gamified element of the Monster Zone. There are generic resources and relics that are present across the whole of Virtua Prime, and there are some that are relevant only to Monster Zone.

Land bots, resources and relics work together to create a gamified experience. Lands bots can extract resources from the land, and then be used to craft these resources into specific items. These items can then be minted and sold as NFTs via the Virtua Marketplace.

The crafted items are either functional (they enhance gameplay) or vanity (they enhance the crib, living space or avatar look).

Some unique relics can be found within the Monster Zone. These historical items have high rarity and can be combined with other resources to create special items.

  • Resources are assigned to the land plots and are mined daily into storage - players must claim their mined resources to clear the storage and use them.

  • Relics are found on the land and are randomly distributed according to an algorithm. Relics shall be airdropped to the holders of these lands on a random basis.

  • Land Bots can be bought and applied to the land owned, to a maximum of the slots allowed within the land deed. These bots enhance resource emission, open up new crafting options and can advance the gameplay of Virtua Prime.

  • Crafted items are created from combining mined resources and relics in order to create a defined set of NFTs. These NFTs are either functional (they enhance the game play within Virtua Prime) or vanity based (they enhance the crib, living space or avatar look).

Crafted items can be sold via the in-game marketplace.

  • For non-land owners, Land Bots enable them to discover new lands, mine resources from public lands to craft and then sell resources, and participate in mini games.

Relics are distributed across Monster Zone (and all further lands) based on the logic outlined here. Which is why, although possible, it is most likely not all of the above will be found within Monster Zone.

Once discovered, relics need to be claimed from storage. Unclaimed relics within storage are subject to sniping from the Scavenger bot.
